As 2013 closes the new fly season will commence with preparation for the 2014 matches. I hope that Wagga can overcome their range issues and any support they wish from fly shooters is available. Thanks to Anthony for helping out with the site and i am sure all would agree he has done a sterling job.
To the new SOTY winners in Mike Bell and Antony Hall who have put in consistantly high results to acheive their goals very well done.
I am sure that there will be any number of competitors preping and getting ready for the first match of the year at Batemans Bay should be a great hit out.
As the calender is all but done i won't be able to make many matches this coming year with my new work role interfering with these dates i will however try to get to as many matches as possible.
To the organisers of the last shoot at Brisbane i am sure everyone who went there thoroughly enjoyed themselves and will promote what a great shoot it was. Often we take for granted those who put the efforts in to make these shoots run.
I would hope this year coming that there are more shooters willing to put their hands up to assist clubs in running shoots without this assistance the sport will decline as so many others are doing right now.
Think about the joy that coming to shoots brings you, meeting friends taking the micky out of someone just for fun and having that little bit of time away from lifes pressures and enjoy a sport we all enjoy.
To the organisers and committee's and the people who help out THANKS without your valued imput fly shooting just would not happen.
