2016 calendar

Hi people, any idea when the 2016 calendar might be available?

Hi mates,

The calendar will be up ASAP when Anthony gets the respective dates from the clubs and approvals for the matches. Each year we try and get the dates as soon as they can. If you look at last years calendar then they are still fairly consistent with the current one for 2015 only minor changes to reflect the weekends.

There is some discussion going on with other shooting disciplines to try and stop matches from clashing but where that is up to is not clear yet.

Hi,

Well to my disappointment I see the weekend for Batemans Bay and the Nationals has moved from the first weekend as per 2015/2014 to the second weekend. So, the consequences of this change for me is I miss out again.

I understand for 95% of you this means very little, a change like this for means no shooting again for 2016, so keep your eyes on the for sale section as my rifle and gear will most probably be on there.

The weekends for Canberra and Batemans Bay have not changed at all......... they were the 2nd weekend last year as well....

It is just that our range calendar (and no doubt Canberra's as well) revolve around the Sunday......in 2015 Sunday the 8th was the second weekend, so our shoot was 7&8th.... this year the second weekend is sunday the 14th...... so we are 13th & 14th.....

Sorry if it conflicts with your roster, but the plan is to always have the same weekend (where we can) so that people can plan for it etc....

I don't see how the 7/8th last year was the second weekend. Since 2013 there was one day difference in the date, this year there is 6-7days difference. Anyways it is what it is.

Sunday the 1st last year made the Weekend of the 31st Jan & 1st of Feb the first "weekend" of Feb (and as Feb has 28 days, Feb 28 & 1st March the first are the first "weekend" in March.

This year Sunday the 7th is the first "Weekend", therefore Saturday the 13th/Sunday the 14th is the second weekend......

It is simply a case of the Sunday determines the calendar weekend.....

Put more simply the 8th was the second sunday last year, this year the second sunday is the 14th....

It will on average change by 1 day each year, then every 6 years it will reset by 6 days (not allowing for leap years).

hello mate can you swap and RDO on the weekends or ask for one day annual leave or ask your boss if i come and give a days work would he give you the day off. I can drive most earth moving machinery just a thought.
