Hi Nick
Very hard to get to 4 events in the rimfire when there are only half as many as the 500m Fly;s on the calendar. ie there are only 5 Rimfire events this year and there are 10 Centrefire events. I thought it was going to be best 3 scores out of say 4 or more attendances. I would say there will only be a very short list of shooters who will shoot 4 or more rimfire events this year. Regards Dave Dundas |

Hi Dave
The 2019 RF SOTY is being scored on the best 3 results from 3 ranges, same as last year. I see my error in the latest RF SOTY update where Vince's best 4 were scored. I have corrected the file and updated it for his best 3 results. This year there were 8 RF events on the calendar and next year there will be 9 with Canberra running 2 RF. It's exciting times for the Fly Shoot, we now have matches spread from Perth to Mackay and its looking very likely that TAS is coming on board. Regards Nick |

Thanks Nick,
Indeed the Fly is doing so well while other events are struggling to get numbers. Will be great to see more rimfore matches as I am not yet shooting with the big boys at the longer distance. Thanks for the update, keep up the good work. Cheers Dave |

Hi Nick
Appears to be a problem with the Rimfire SOTY, shooters from 6th to 14th have gone missing and some of the points are less for shooters when compared to your Oct 2nd post. Probably just a doc versioning issue, I dont think we have had a rimfire match since the Pro cal in Canberra so your post dated 2nd Oct should be the latest results. Vince seems to be the only one to have gained more points in the rimfire, maybe he has hacked the system....Ha ha. Cheers Dave |
