Hi all,

A couple of things -

Firstly I think Stuart may have mis-interpreted Tony Z's comment about the Fly being a nostalgia event. I am sure he meant that in reference to the Townsville range only and not on a national basis. Even though these guys in North Queensland don't shoot Fly often they are still entitled to have their say and be respected for their input.

On the subject of adjustable rear rests, I think this has been discussed sufficiently on this forum. I will see to it that the issue is debated and voted on in Canberra by the shooters present and if found to be be popular then it will in turn end up on the table at the delegates meeting in Perth. Enough said!

Let's now return to the balance of Anthony's draft to see if any fresh ideas surface.

Well said Pete there is so much to be gained by getting these interim rules right. Anthony has put in great effort to getting the draft as close to the forum threads and requests.

As the federal cup is fast approaching i think that many should re visit the original threads and refresh their memories then read Anthony's changes and go from there.

I will have a Calender up shortly Anthony is sending me all the registered matches and i will post them as soon as i have them
cheers Les
shooting well is more a mental control of your thoughts than just pulling the trigger........

Rimfire Fly should be 200yds, having it at 200m will preclude venues like Silverdale from holding a registered event as there is no way to get the range to 200m.

Sorry if I misinterpreted the Tony Z comment,  "nostalga event"

I am glad to see debate and things go to a process for a vote on rules and procedures. I personally am not happy to change ANY of the 10 rules printed on the target but that is just my opinion.

Now back to the people posting on this f0rum. Les's rules are VERY clear about people posting here and and he has repeated it often. Those who just refuse to understand need to go back and read his post near the start of this forum which is called "attention all new and current users of this forum please read"
He clearly states that he wants ALL forum users to to put YOUR NAME and a PHOTO OF  YOURSELF up on the forum. The use of pseudonyns is unacceptable and not havinga photo is unacceptable. I am not having a go at Pete as I know he did post to say he is having trouble with how to do this and I am sure Les can help him out. Others though have no excuse as they are used to doing this as they regularly post on nearly every internet shooting forum over the world. I made a comment about it here and Jeff Harrison changed his straight away which is good but others have not. I say this is unacceptable. It is rude to all of us and it's disrespectful to Les because he owns this forum, he makes the rules.

I say shape up or ship out....now.
