Saturday 9.00am start– 500m fly (light & heavy gun - may shoot both classes). This is a registered match
Cost $50 for 1 class $40 for second class.

Juniors’ half price

Main Range 2, open from 9am Friday to set up flags and practice.

 A free-entry 300 yard Mozzie shoot will be run between 1.30pm and 3.00pm on the Friday for those interested, however anyone wishing to shoot this or just practice will be levied a $15 range fee. All sign-in will be on the range - please do not sign-in at the office but proceed directly to our range, main range 2.

Awards 1st to 3rd for 2 gun (HG &LG) total score.
Awards for 1st to 3rd for each class for total score, highest individual target and smallest group.

Camping available at the range.
Nearest accommodation is at the Little River Hotel Motel 10km from the range.

Hi Nick i am withdrawing from the shoot at Little River i do not support this move to a multi gun event which means that if a shooter from QLD or Townsville or anywhere else  shoots only one class they cannot win the match. This award has only come about this year due to a Victorian delegates personal agenda to have this process used  for all registered matches. If this award is taken on board as the normal way of awarding trophies then effectively a Victorian Delegate has reduced the potential winners of the match over all from every entry, to those who can shoot both classes. I am going to provide some stats on this forum to this effect.

I had considered making a comeback to the Fly at this shoot as it lines up with a few other things I have going on, but I only have 1 gun these days.

I'll be buggered if I will drive from Qld to Victoria and spend a fortune doing so to make up numbers in a match I can't win because I sold my HG. I am sure I won't be missed so I will just go fishing instead.

Its bad enough the world is going to hell now even my favourite sport is in turmoil because of a few wankers

Wake up to yourselves before you ruin something that's always been great just as it is and was always meant to be.

If its not broke don't fix it. If you cant get a win get better don't change the rules.
