Had a great day in WA

well firstly thanks to the guys for their input on my load development :)

well the Saturday was the 1st day using the new benches at the club.. knocked down the 5 that they had and pulled up the old slabs
put down new concrete floor and put up 10 benches as were are getting a few people now

we had 15 shooters on the weekend and it was a great round

thats my yellow beast in front

well i scored my highest round score and highest total so far on the day
the 1st round was perfect conditions but i pulled one shot and was well on my way to a 1.8inch group but these things happen
scored 50
the 2nd round the wind came up from behind  but i got my highest score of 55.1 and got my best group of 1.872 inches


3rd round mirage and wind came up but stilled managed to get a 50.1 and was leading the comp by a few at this stage

4th round i couldn't even see the fly through the mirage and wind was now shifting left and right coming from behind us and i only got a 40.1 score and then lost the lead as mick got a 52

going into the 5th round there was only 2 points between mick and i and in the end i only got a 37 and mick shot a 43
beating me by 8 points at the end of the day 240.2 to my 232.3 but i was stoked as it was my highest score yet
and we smashed 3rd place with who had a score of 189
this what my target looked like after i took off the patches . the numbers next to them are the round shot in

 

still need to get better reading the wind ..but great day overall

 

Great effort Stuart wish I was there, new benches and concrete floor look like a big improvement.

Hi mate great photo of the benches looks like a first class set up. The fly is getting stronger al the time keep us up to date.
