Hey Ken
yeah im using a Krieger HV 30inch barrel in a 1:7.5 twist as i will be running 105gr hybrids and maybe try 115gr at a later date
i'm using a 270 neck and will be turning brass to a loaded round of 267 with .003 neck tension
i am starting with 110 free bore and will see where bullets end up on the shoulder/neck junction and if i need to take more out i will get it adjusted
will be using 2208 and CCI 450 primers

cant wait to start shooting it

Re: It's nearly.done

Im sure that rifle will be a Laser Stuart  &  wearing a Kreiger it has to shoot ... will be interested to see how well it does with the 115's .  hopefully it will still go light gun with that 30'' tube.

Yeah Les iv got the bug again & its an expensive one to get ...

The BAT i picked up off used guns & has a 24'' Maddco  1:8 twist   272 neck  but the stock wasnt suited for fly so Reedy is chopping me one out of my last stringy bark blank.

Re: It's nearly.done

Stuart Pethy
finally got around to doing some load testing the other week and looks like i have 2 nodes all tested at 300m 2208 and 105gr hybrids at .008 jump, i did have a little bit of barrel mirage that i had to wait fo it to clear at times as there was next to no wind early that morning

32.3gr to 32.5gr , these where 0.4 inch high and 0.6 inch high
and 33.5gr and 33.7gr (i did drop the last one as i just shot it quckly as i had to go)
i dont have speeds for these yet but i have loaded up a heap at 32.4gr and am waiting for time/weather to be right so i can test seating depth, i hate summer for wind and mirage haha

the 33gr group down at bottom righ i dropped some rounds on bench and they got mixed up when i was reloading so i just shot them as sighters

Re: It's nearly.done

Stuart Pethy
My whidden hydro forming die turned up so I thought I would try it on 100 cases , as I have only been using the 100 I fire formed  since getting gun and I need more.
Hydro forming was easy to do the cases came out great

I used my 32.4gr from my load testing and shot them at fly today to finish off the shouders and they did great
Best group was a1.8inch but I aso had another 2 rounds where 4 rounds where and 1.5 inches but as normal the 5th was out

Saved myself 100 made up rounds and 100 rounds down my barrel . So I'm happy
