Load Data 6BR 1:10

Tony Souter
Have just broken-in barrel and am looking for load data please.

Will probably start with 2208, and Berger FB 88gr (300yds) plus Berger BT 108gr (500yds).

Am I on the right track?

G'day Tony,
I'm using a Nosler 107 Custom Competition in my 6mmbr, which works at 300m and out to 1000yds (shot it at that distance for the first time today) and the load is Lapua brass, CCI SR BR primers and 29.5gns of AR2208 with 10thou jump.

Cheers.

Dave.

G'day Tony,
just looking at your post and wondering if the heading - 6br 1:10 - refers to your barrel twist. If so you might be limited somewhat with the projectiles. 95 berger VLD's might work but Bergers web site recommends 1:9. Certainly the 88's and the 90 grn BT will stabalise.
Regards,
Belly

Good point Belly, I think (not sure) my barrel is a 1:9 twist.

Cheers.

Yes it is 1:10 twist.

I will also be trying Berger VLD 95gr as recommended by BRT.

Have dumped the idea of 108gr.
