Newbie Fly Shooter from Perth

Hi to all,
I've been using this very interesting site for the last 6 month so I thought it may be time to introduce myself. My name is Jason, I have been competing in the Fly on and of for a couple of years at Perth Field Rifle Club in Perth and occasionally at Perth Metelic Silhouette when work doesn't get in the way. I started out with a Rem 700 Sendero in 300win mag, great rifle but recoil was an issue. Another fellow shooter was having a lot of luck with his newly built 6mmBR Norma, apart from being a pleasure to shoot,it was a tack driver. Decision made, I emailed Dave Kerr here in Perth and had a 6br built a little over 12 month ago, (Stolle Panda F Class Action, McMillan F Class Stock, 30" Krieger Barrel 1:8 twist, Jewell trigger, shooting 105 VLD's) it's been awesome to say the least I've even won a couple of matches and am hooked big time on accurate rifles and long range shooting. Good to see there is alot of  other like minded people on this site and I look forward to learning and sharing info with you all.

Welcome guys to the site the forum is a great way to get to know fly shooters across the country. The idea is to post comments or ideas just like you have been doing and everyone chimes in with something. There are a lot of Folks who just read but that's ok.
