500m Fly Shoot
Saturday 28 September 2013

SSAA ACT Majura Shooting Complex

Light Gun to 17lbs, Heavy Gun unlimited

Five targets plus optional warmer

Fees $50 per class or $90 for both classes

Rifles must be shot from separate sandbag rest systems.  Light Gun class allows a bipod but must be included in the 17lbs.  No muzzle breaks allowed.  Range is open for practice the day before, 9am to 4pm.  Bench draw will be posted on the range two days before event.  Trophies for top three places in both classes. Pro-Cal cup for Light Gun winner.  Half Fly Cup for overall winner.  Trophy for Small Group and High Score for both classes.  Fly patches for hits on the fly.  Prizes drawn on competitor number at presentation.

What the fudge?
Been on this sites calender as 21 September.  Have made arrangements around that date. Oops for me I suppose!

Looks like our calendar was wrong.....

I checked the dates the best I could and made the calendar late last year based on the information I had...  At that time Dave Groves did not have his calendar for the full year and as last years was on the 22nd.... we thought the 21st would be correct for 2013.

When the SSAA Canberra Range Calendar was published late December, neither of thought to check and make sure it was still the same.

Apologies to those that have made plans around the 21st..... It seems it is the 28th instead.

It also means that Canberra and Batemans Bay are consecutive weekends.  Not ideal for any of us..... but the matches are registered with National and locked in to those dates......
