Hi Mate,

I think that certainly has some merit, and I understand the concern....some might be professionally not wanting to be connected to this sport, as well as your security concerns (ie law enforcement, military or political career etc).... but the point is avoiding people hiding behind a loose nickname.... and saying whatever they like ... ie the dickhead that used fellowflyshooter etc...

Simply make your name Paul D.. and put a picture of yourself...even from the side over a rifle if you are worried about easy recognition...no need to state what town you are from ...... but we and any who turn up to a shoot will know who it is..... only a select few know who ratshot refers to....

By the way,  how is the weather at home in broken hill :)

Cheers

Anthony

Hi mate in reference to the usage of ones real name and a photo I have certainly considered the placing of names on an open forum and consequences especially with my current occupation which I am sure is sensative to the negative element in our communities. If a person needs to find out information on anyone this is simply done by a Google search or an electoral role search.

I noted you put up my nickname that I use on other forums for all to see so I will clarify this position. Those forum rules allow for nicknames and therefore I stay within those rules. Such as the rules for this site.  Paul D and a photo of you over the rifle I am sure would provide you with the security you feel is lacking.

In saying all that it is up to the individual if they want to contribute to the forum if they do they will remain within the rules.

Yep, that's you.... I can tell by the facial hair.... but I thought you didn't want a publically recognisable image of you on here.....

For some reason I was unable to use my first name. I think this is because there are actually two accounts. I wasn't able to log into the other one as I have since changed my email address. I'll add a photo in coming days when I can get on the Mac. For some reason I am not able to upload one from the bat phone.
