WRAP UP – VIC STATE FLY SHOOT CHAMPIONSHIPS 2022The VIC Fly Shoot Championships for 2022 were contested on the weekend at Eagle Park Range, Little River.
A small but enthusiastic bunch of Fly shooters gathered to compete and were treated to typical Little River conditions; a 20km/h westerly gusting to 40km/h on Saturday, easing off to a 15km/h – 20km/h westerly on Sunday but with some big drop offs and direction switches.
On Friday the consensus was, given the forecast conditions, the current range records would be safe this weekend, however we were surprised on Sunday when the 200yd records were rewritten.
Ken Perrin set a new 200yd Total Score range record, 257.05 and Jacko set two new 200yd range records for High Score 60.04 and a screamer Small Group 0.845”
