Gentlemen,
After reading the interim rules more carefully, I have some questions/concerns here:
In section 3.2 Equipment:
3.2.9 Entry of LG in HG class maybe done providing this gun is NOT previously entered in LG.
If a competitor has two light guns he/she may enter one rifle in light gun and the other in heavy gun. Etc.......
My question is, what is the reason(s)...or why???
While I can see why in both categories competitors may only enter one rifle per class and the rifle must comply with the class entered (in item 3.2.8), I can not quite understand with item 3.2.9....
My (switch barrel-switch caliber) rifle is designed from the beginning so that I can use it either for point blank 100/200/300 match (in PPC LV / HV mode), the Fly, and 1.000 yds or F-class belly benchrest in .284win LG mode.
--- I can't imagine a light gun has advantage to a heavy gun, assuming weight concern, etc....
(Mine is a light gun, certainly under 17 lbs, but I can make it 25 lbs or so - by adding weights etc to the stock & if I have to!?).
--- Assuming that a shooter can shoot both LG and HG in one day match(?), I can't imagine a shooter has advantage or so after he entered/shot in LG then shoot in HG (with same gun, or different gun) as condition etc always change.....
--- I can't also imagine to build another rifle for the time being....
--- I also fully understand that my gun's concept/configuration is not ideal, I can't just justify to spend more $$$$ to build several guns at this moment...
Just a food for thought...

In section 2.1 Competitor's Eligibility
Can a foreign shooter like me shoot in the Nationals?
Do I need to register the SSAA membership? --- If so, how?

Thanks & Best Wishes,
