Thanks Belly,

It is a humbling feeling to finally get to the winners circle. There are some tremendous shooters among the fly community and it is a great feeling for the hard work to pay off. I can honestly say I was the most prepared u have ever been for any competition, and to be honest I think there is no other way to be. The level of competition is that high now that you have to do as much as you can with your gear to succeed.

I truly encourage any new shooter to ask the guys questions, about bench technique, reloading and load development......everything as these are all crucial. I did and any of the guys and girls will be happy to help. This is a sport where other competitors happily share information so use it.

All the little things make a difference, I was having trouble with vertical and made a change to my bag setup, I added sand and stiffened up my rear bag as I only have a soft front bag. I was tapping my stock into the rear bag also, which I stopped and it seemed to help my rifle track so much better. Little things can make a difference.

I can't wait for next year as I will be attending at least enough events for the SOTY qualification.

Great shooting people 👍
Just doing my part to reduce the fly population!!!!
