Yes...A great weekend all round.

We have to be happy to have sponsors such as BRT who have sponsored this event for some time  & now Australian Munitions kicking in ,which I should say happened because Les approached them and they responded.

 A really good story here with Tim Pavey taking out overall winner with a great score of 260 .03. It's a lesson to all because Tim has been coming to just about all these shoots for a few years, driving from his home near Cessnock to Melbourne, Wagga & Batemans Bay as well as Canberra. I think he even drove over to Monarto in SA for the unofficial shoot last year. His scores have been increasing for some time.
 With a couple of great 300 meter wins just recently it seemed clear that a 500 victory was just around the corner. Well...what a way to come into bloom,..at the National Champs no less. Australian Munitions should also be happy because Tim used their 2208 powder in his 6 BRX.

  Great effort Tim...trigger time is everything!

Special mention to the guys fromWA....massive effort to get across. Relatively new to the 500 fly but it didn't stop Jason Rushton from shooting a great score of 253.05. Just shows what enthusiasm can do as I think they shoot the 500 at club level every month. So too do the guys from Brisbane who are coming ahead in leaps and bounds because of the efforts of Vince Vaina & his crew.

  Seems to be a theme developing here....shoot more and get better at it!......Maybe club level 500's from time to time could be the go!!??
