Thank you all for the nice comments here and good wishes. We are grateful too that almost everybody personally thanked us for our sponsorship at the presentation or after and we both feel that it is a very nice  and respectful. It is also a measure of the difference in many ways between most of the Fly Shoot crowd compared to many of the other shooting events etc. Sorry to say it, but...........

We really did enjoy this years event again and it helped make the 2 day drive home easier. Congrats to Tim Pavey (LG and overall) who has been plugging away hard for a long time. Just reward.
For some people its all about the winning and for most they know that they won't. No shame in that. In fact as long as both types apply rule 10 all are equal in my view.

We originally gave Dave Groves a commitment to sponsor the first 5 Nationals while they are in Canberra before the usual SSAA Nationals rotation starts. But we have decided to continue with sponsorship of this event in March till at least the 30th anniversary match in 2020. We feel sure this event will remain the feature match in Australia annually regardless of where Nationals are at. With help of Les and Anthony and others there will be some additional sponsor who will add to the pool and fill the gap to reduce the financial stain on just us.  So we look forward to continuing the co-operation.

There are many a good people who are contributing to our sport of Fly Shooting these days. But I would like to single out one and thank Les Fraser for the work he did arranging that ADI sponsorship. I know that occasionally a few people like to "rip in into" Les at times. Maybe on this forum, maybe in person. This is one of the disadvantages of being the man who holds his hand up. Comes with the territory. But its time for a good pat on the back for the man because I do think maybe a few people out there still do not know the level of his passion and personal sacrifice for the sport. For this ADI stuff he actually got up at 4am on the 10th, drove from the other side of Bathurst down to Horsley Park to collect all that stuff. This was necessary because ADI in their wisdom decided to send it there. Then drove back home and off to work for the day. I know he didn't say anything about that because he doesn't but we know it and that is why I am telling it. That is a personal financial and time cost that he just continues to put in for all of us in this sport. Thanks Les.
