Dave any custom action will no doubt be stiff enough for the calibers we are allowed to shoot in a fly match given the range templates.

My personal preference is a duel port  action with a right bolt left feed right eject but would not hesitate to buy the advertised action drop port action  if the intended caliber will freely drop through that port.

The idea is to be able to use both hands to run your shots down relatively quickly if a condition holds.

As for the action still being there for sale is probably just that no one is currently building a rifle ( i would personally buy it if it wouldn't mean id get a divorce )  ...
