Hi Dave,

The question in relation to dual ports single ports RBLP LPRB is really down to the way you want to shoot the rifle. The stiffness of the action is dependent the quality of the action and what are you going to chamber it in.

As an example i wouldn't be shooting a 260 AI 140 gn big charge out of a standard rem action and expect to be in the winners circle, sure they will stand up to the recoil but more importantly is the harmonics of the rifle.

Like barrel tuning with a Rimfire which you know about a centre is the same principle with a centre fire but instead of tuning the rifle to the load you are tuning the load to the rifle.

Now to the actions i personally like the left feed right eject action for speed and stability of the rifle in the bag i can stay on the rifle sighted and shoot the five shots of in under 20 seconds if need be so that means I have 6min 40secs to decide when to shoot the scoring shots. Hope this makes some sense.
