Hi all.
After Wagga's hurdles of the last few years we are finally in a position to run the night fly again.

This is a 300m match using Wagga's rules for Custom and factory class. A percentage of each nights range fees ($20) will be allotted to the winner of each class each night and a grand prize after the four events.

Matches to be held on Friday nights. Camping available on the range. practice before dark, first scoring shot once the lights are on. 5 targets no sighters. No flags.

Dates:

20th November
11th December
15th January
12th February.

Any questions please ask. Hope to see you all there.

cheers

Hi,

Sounds fantastic and should generate some interest and hopefully addict more members to shoot fly !!

Great format..... might be tempted if it was 2 hours drive.....but 4 makes it harder !!

Cheers & good luck

Anthony

Great to see Chappo i think Wagga has a great venue and keen people to get shoots off the ground which is what every club wants.

Well done.

Hi All,
Well the first of our NIGHT fly was run on Friday Night. Winds at 35km/h gusting to over 50km/h made for some hair raising conditions. Targets getting blown away, gear getting blown off benches. It was ferocious, however 9 brave souls attempted the shoot.

In Custom Class Bob Wright scored a 254.02 to beat out me on 251.05 with Griffith Shooter Robert Dalbron 3rd with a 249.01.

In Factory Class Mick Reed scored a 229.04 to beat Bruce Milne on 214.03 and Arthur Robinson finished 3rd on 185.

Smallest Group was Robert Valerie with a group in the 0.9" (sorry exact size escapes me).

I got highest target with a 56.02.

A special mention to Tony GESTIER who attempted his very first fly shoot with a factory .223 to score a 140 as well a fly hit. Tony had never shot beyond 200 yards  before. It was certainly a baptism of fire or should that be WIND.

Cash prizes were given out for 1st and 2nd for both classes as well as money put aside for the end of competition totals.

Hope to see a few more there next month.

cheers
